Peter Boudgoust, born in 1954 in Mannheim. ARD Chairman and Director-General of Südwestrundfunk (SWR). 1973-1978, studied law at the Universities of Heidelberg and Mannheim. 1979-1981, legal internship with completion of 2nd state examination. 1981-1984, Head of Social Affairs Department for the Main-Tauber Administrative District Office. 1984-1986, Press Officer of the Regional Council Stuttgart. 1986-1994, State Ministry Baden-Wurttemberg; most recently Head of Department I (Personnel, Budget, Finance, Media, Information and Communication Systems). 1995-1998, Legal Officer and Finance Director of Südwestrundfunk. October 1998-April 2007, Director of Administration of Südwestrundfunk, Managing Director of SWR Holding GmbH. January 1999 - December of 2000 Chairman of the ARD Finance Commission. Since May 2007, Director-General of Südwestrundfunk. Since January 2009, ARD Chairman. Cooperation on numerous commissions of the ARD and ZDF, among others, member of the Strategy Group of the ARD, member of the Finance Group of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). Chairman of the ARD/ZDF Working Group Broadcasting Licence Fees. In charge of central pay negotiations for the ARD. Member of the ARD Negotiation Group Election Reporting Contract.
