The aim of the CIVIS Media Foundation is to sensitize journalists in Germany and Europe for the themes of integration and cultural diversity. The organisation contributes to inter-cultural understanding and to European integration through the activities of the electronic media. Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees assumes an important representative function for the organization. The Board of Trustees acts in the civil society in order to effectively present the interests of the organization to the public. The members of the Board of Trustees have a right to nominate programme contributions which are worthy of prizes in the European media prize. more

Integration on every Channel
What can the media do - what must they do? The media are observers, reporters and actors all at once. In the process of integration, the media play both a decisive and responsible role. A one-sided report can easily contribute to a general sense of insecurity and does not serve the purpose of enlightenment. Anyone who now fails to look very closely and is not prepared to re-examine his prejudices and to differentiate, can be a source of lasting damage for peaceful coexistence. more
