ANNOUNCEMENT NOMINEES 2020

The nominees for the European CIVIS Media Prize 2020 and their entries in the categories AUDIO, VIDEO and YOUNG C have now been chosen.

The CIVIS Media Prize should have been awarded on the evening of the 5th May 2020 in the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin. Due to the corona pandemic and the fact that we do not know how the situation will develop in the coming weeks, we are unfortunately unable to confirm when the event will take place. Of course, Europe’s most renowned media prize for integration and cultural diversity will be awarded in 2020 – but only on October 2, 2020 and in an another exciting format.

This year has once again seen many outstanding entries. They deal with subjects such as fleeing to Europe, racism and antisemitism in many different ways; however, they also cover strategies against hate and violence and the promotion of the peaceful coexistence of people with diverse geographical and cultural origins.
