14-year-old Ramize lives with her brothers, sisters and her mother near Stuttgart. Her father was murdered at the beginning of the Yugoslavian war following a demonstration. The mother flees with the children from Kosovo. Due to her status, the family can be deported at any time. For the children it is difficult to live with the unsafe residence situation. Disputes at home are regular part of the programme – also with physical violence. The documentary provides a very close look at the life of a Roma family which has lived for 14 years as “tolerated”.
