From the perspective of Europe’s largest minority – the Roma. Whether refugees of war from the former Yugoslavia, refugees from poverty in Romania or in the country for over 500 years already – the situation of the Roma in Italy has deteriorated dramatically. Since the murder of an Italian woman by one Rom, all the Roma in Italy feel exposed to a wave of racialist and xenophobic attacks. The documentary shows the tense situation and asks questions about human rights in one of Europe’s largest democracies.
