Content
The true story of three sisters from Damascus and their cousin. They flee in different ways from the war in Syria. Their stories vividly show just what flight means for them: the girls and their parents have to leave everything behind them, with which they are familiar, and which they love in order to escape the war. Their cousin is hoping for a future that no longer open to him in Syria because of the war. The story is told consistently from the perspective of the protagonists. The flight does not remain anonymous, it shows an individual human face.

Excerpt from the jury’s statement
Sensitive, high radiophonic quality – explanations for children and teenagers. Dramatically convincing.
