Content
Young refugee amateur footballers meet professional football players, who also started out as refugees. The players talk about issues that shape their lives: the causes of flight and the experiences and consequences of having fled. Refugees have many faces. The eleven-part web video series mainly looks at youths and young adults between the age of 14 and 24. The experiences of these amateurs and pros visualise the often abstract information we get about flight and asylum. “Refugee Eleven” is a project by the Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung (German Agency for Civic Education). ”
