Suli Kurban comes with her family from the Chinese city of Urumchi as a refugee to Munich. She dreams of a career as an actress. In April 2008, the 20-year-old is part of the drama project “Win-Place-Show”: intellectuals meet people who left school early and professional actors meet amateurs. They talk about love, success, racism and the feeling of being superfluous in a society. Suli Kurban accompanies the project with interviews, reports and impressions.
