A football team of refugees in Erftstadt. They are young and have plenty of time. They play football in the last German amateur league – county league C. They fight for success. On the field and, above all, in life. The REFUGEE 11 comprises 27 refugees from 16 nations. Only those who come regularly and on time, only those who are disciplined and obey the rules, are fielded. A film about the first months in a strange world – about the desires, fears and dreams of young men. Football offers a home – but it is not sufficient to make integration a success.
