Workers at the Islamic cemetery in Kumanovo (North Macedonia) give refugees a dignified burial regardless of their – sometimes unknown – background. Cemetery employees talk about the funerals of very different asylum-seekers: those who died fleeing the Yugoslav Wars in the 1990s; and those who lost their lives while fleeing North Africa in the last five years.
