Only as few personal data as possible will be collected. The data shall not be forwarded to any unauthorised third party. The data shall not be leased or sold. The CIVIS Media Foundation – referred to hereafter as CIVIS – is not commercially active.

Personal data are processed regularly only with the consent of the user and only where necessary for the provision of a functioning website, as well as of CIVIS content and services. Once the purpose of their collection has been fulfilled, the data will be deleted by CIVIS.

Registration for the newsletter is recorded in order to be able to prove the registration process in accordance with legal requirements. The time of registration, the time of confirmation, and the IP address are stored. The e-mail address of the users is stored for as long as the newsletter subscription is active. Receipt of the newsletter can be cancelled at any time by means of an opt-out. The legal basis for processing data after registration for the newsletter by the user is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
